Warranty & Repair Service Policies

We are an authorized Warranty Service Centre for the products we sell when purchased in Canada or the USA. Warranties on items sold outside of Canada and the USA are void.

Warranty Service

For items still within the manufacturer's warranty period, the following terms & conditions apply:

  • We must receive a copy of the original bill of sale from an authorized North American retailer; we must submit this company offering with the warranty claim and cannot do warranty servicing without it.

  • We require a written description of the problem and a contact phone number in case we need to discuss the problem with you.

  • The Purchaser/Owner is responsible for the shipping costs to and from the Warranty Service Centre (see Contact Us),

  • PTT Gadgets will not accept Collect (C.O.D.) shipments.

  • We do not accept responsibility for damage due to shipping: Package & insure the item properly before shipping.

  • Include shipping instructions for the return on the item after servicing. Merchandise will be shipped according to your preference by one of three shipping companies that operate in our area: Canada Post or FedEx.

Repair Service

For items needing repair after a warranty has expired or for whom receipts do not exist, the following terms & conditions apply:

  • You must call us before sending in any repairs: The unit may be beyond economic repair or a necessary part may not be available, in which case sending your repair to us will not be useful.

  • Items damaged by lightning or salt water exposure lasting more than a few minutes are generally beyond economic repair (it is cheaper to replace them than repair them).

  • We require a written description of the problem and a contact phone number in case we need to discuss the problem with you.

  • The Purchaser/Owner is responsible for the shipping costs to and from PTT Gadgets (in Roberts Creek, BC, Canada).

  • PTT Gadgets will not accept collect (C.O.D.) shipments.

  • We do not accept responsibility for damage due to shipping: Package & insure the item properly before shipping.

  • Include shipping instructions for the return on the item after servicing. Merchandise will be shipped according to your preference by one of three shipping companies that operate in our area: Canada Post or FedEx.
